In an auspicious, challenging and rewarding start to his career in musical theater, Chan scored 4 shows for this groundbreaking Tony-award-winning Franco-American troupe: "1789: The French Revolution", his first musical "The Nightingale", "Cyrano", and most notably "Children of Paradise: Shooting a Dream" which made the cover of American Theater Magazine and was met with great critical praise, going on to win the American Theatre Critics Association's award for best new play.
